This role requires close collaboration with customers, core technology partners, and internal teams to solve technical challenges and drive execution.\nWhat You’ll Do\nDefine and drive long-term test engineering and manufacturing test strategy across multiple programs or product lines, aligning with company-level objectives.\nOwn roadmap planning for test infrastructure, automation, and quality systems, including capacity scaling and future technology adoption.\nDrive cross-functional alignment across design, quality, manufacturing, test, and supplier engineering to ensure scalable and production-ready test solutions.\nLead strategic engagements with key customers, suppliers, and partners to define joint technical roadmaps and resolve systemic challenges.\nAct as the primary liaison between internal teams, customers, and external partners to resolve technical challenges and align priorities.\nLeverage data-driven insights (e.g., root cause analysis, Time-to-Failure) to diagnose issues and implement sustainable improvements.\nLead end-to-end test engineering programs, driving continuous improvement across test yield, test infrastructure reliability, test execution efficiency, and overall product quality throughout the product lifecycle.\nEnsure test processes, changes, and issue resolutions are implemented with minimal disruption to production, maintaining stability and operational efficiency.\nEstablish and enforce program structure, metrics, and accountability across teams; proactively identify risks, remove blockers, and ensure on-time delivery.\nCommunicate program status, risks, and key decisions clearly to leadership and stakeholders.\nGuide teams through complex trade-offs, risk management, and decision-making as a technical thought partner and program leader.\nDrive continuous improvement of manufacturing test processes, ensuring measurable outcomes and operational efficiency gains.\nWhat You’ll Bring\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\n8+ years of experience, with demonstrated impact at Staff+ level across multiple large-scale programs.\nProven ability to define and execute engineering strategy at an organizational or multi-product level.\nTrack record of driving measurable business outcomes (cost, yield, quality, scalability).\nDemonstrated ability to drive alignment, hold teams accountable, and deliver results in fast-paced environments.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using data to drive decisions.\nProven experience managing complex engineering projects from concept to production.\nStrong understanding of manufacturing test processes, test automation, and liquid cooling technology\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\nProficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project) and documentation platforms (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint).\nPreferred Skills:\nExperience defining test strategy for new product categories or emerging technologies.\nExperience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.\nFamiliarity with hardware/software integration testing.\nKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.\nExperience working with global teams and customers.\nPMP, Lean Six Sigma certification, or advanced degree (e.g., Master’s) in a relevant field.\nZT Systems assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package is created for all our employees. The typical base salary for this position is expected to be around $93,000 to $140,000. If hired, the final base salary will be determined on an individual basis taking into consideration experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.\nBase salary is just one component of ZT Systems total rewards philosophy.
