Other responsibilities for this position include working directly with our customers and coretechnology suppliers to understand and solve technical problems facing the customer.\nWhat You’llDo\nDevelopsserver motherboards and add-in cards from definition through schematics, PCB Layout/CAD, and HW Verification in the lab.\n\nDevelops/implements repeatable design processes, looking for ways to improve quality and reduce risk and opportunities for errors. Practices “continual process improvement”\n\nDevelop technical relationships with the System Architecture Team.\n\nCollaborate with the appropriate BIOS/FWteams to establishthe I/O pin definitions and ensure the HW Design Specification accurately defines them.\n\nCreate consistent, human readable schematics\n\nDesign with high quality and cost-effective solutions in mind. Avoid unnecessary or unessential features and understand when a novel solution is the correct choice.\n\nDrive design through new product development life cycle from concept through planning and development.\n\nLead feasibility studies of system level concepts.\n\nDrive prototyping or proof of concepts of new technologies.\n\nWhat You Bring\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineeringrequired, Master’sdegree preferred\n\n5+ years of direct industry experience required(3+ years with a MS degree)\n\nSolid grasp of analog and digital circuit theory and principles.\n\nStrong background and experience with high-speed signal design implementation, power distribution techniques, and Intel/AMD/ARM/GPU platform architectures.\n\nExperience with implementation of high-speed serial buses and Fabrics (SAS/SATA, PCIe, InfiniBand, FibreChannel, Ethernet, etc.), high speed Memory Buses (DDR4, DDR5, HBM2), and Processor/Accelerator Cache Coherent Links (CCIX, GenZ, CXL).\n\nStrong knowledge of the Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) functionality and the ability to enable it.\n\nDemonstrated ability to create detailed design specifications and develop test plans for new product features.\n\nDemonstrated ability to discover, learn, and apply new technologies.\n\n#ZTSANENG2025!\nAbout ZT Systems\nAt ZT Systems, a Sanmina Company, you’ll get to do work you are proud of alongside smart, passionate people.
