This is achieved through proactive and reactive processes, routine maintenance, and effective fault resolution. The role also provides first-line support for core nodes and escalates issues to Senior Engineers when necessary.\n\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nEnsure continuous availability and optimal performance of the CS network.\n\nProvide first-line support for core nodes and escalate complex issues to Senior Engineers.\n\nPerform daily network maintenance routines to uphold system integrity.\n\nMonitor network nodes to identify and resolve faults in a timely manner.\n\nAct as an HLS resource for the NOC, supporting escalations and fault resolution while sharing knowledge.\n\nExecute work orders assigned to the HLS pool.\n\nDevelop and implement new procedures under the guidance of the Senior Engineer or Manager.\n\nCollaborate within the multifunctional matrix support structure across network operations (Core Network, BSS, Packet Switching, Earth Station, VAS, and Fixed Lines).\n\nCommunicate fault events in accordance with departmental and company-wide escalation procedures.\n\nConduct regular switch site DDF/ODF cleanups, ensure proper labeling, and maintain general room cleanliness.\n\nREQUIREMENT & QUALIFICATION\n\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE\n\nBachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.\n\nMinimum of 2-3 years’ experience in CS Core Network operations or a similar role.\n\nHands-on experience with CS Core network elements (MSC, HLR, STP, MGW, etc.).\n\nProven track record in troubleshooting and maintaining telecom network infrastructure.\n\nTECHNICAL SKILLS\n\nStrong knowledge of GSM, UMTS, LTE, and VolP technologies.\n\nFamiliarity with signaling protocols (SS7, SIP, Diameter).\n\nProficiency in network monitoring tools and fault management systems.\n\nAbility to perform routine maintenance and configuration on core network nodes.\n\nUnderstanding of escalation procedures and incident management processes.\n\nCOMPETENCES\n\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\nStrong communication and interpersonal abilities.\n\nAbility to work effectively in a multifunctional team environment.\n\nHigh attention to detail and commitment to maintaining operational
