You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and supporting scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure solutions on Microsoft Azure. This is a hands-on technical role with opportunities to shape cloud transformation initiatives, enable our Coop teams to deliver new systems with quickly with quality baked in, and mentor other engineers.\nThe role will focus on strengthening the enterprise Azure platform, including Azure Landing Zones, automated policies and governance, and the development of paved roads for teams across the organisation. Experience with enterprise Azure adoption is essential, with additional experience in designing and implementing Cloud Native platforms, applications and/or AI platforms considered advantageous.\nHow You’ll Make an Impact\nDesign and implement Azure landing zones aligned with enterprise-scale architecture principles.\n\nDevelop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, Azure Resource Manager, or Bicep\n\nDefine and enforce governance using Azure Policy, management groups, and role-based access control (RBAC).\n\nArchitect and implement multi-region network topologies, including configuration of Azure Firewall, Network Security Groups (NSGs), Private Endpoints, and Expressroute.\n\nEnsure cloud environments are secure, compliant, and cost-optimized.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams including architecture, security, and application development.\n\nMonitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.\n\nLead technical discussions, provide guidance on best practices, and contribute to cloud strategy.\n\nDocument solutions and processes, and support knowledge sharing across the team.\n\nWhat’s Important to Us\nDegree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).\n\nProven experience in Azure cloud engineering at a senior level.\n\nExperience designing and implementing Azure landing zones and workloads in Azure.\n\nStrong knowledge of Azure services including networking, compute, storage, and security.\n\nExperience with Azure governance, policies, and cost management.\n\nProficiency in scripting and automation using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, ARM/Bicep) and PowerShell, Bash, or Python.\n\nDeep understanding of Azure networking concepts including VNET peering, Expressroute, DNS, firewalls, and routing.\n\nExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.\n\nStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.\n\n· Team involvement and leadership capabilities - including how they have technically motivated or supported team members.\n\nUse of technical tools (e.g., diagrams, dashboards, documentation platforms) to communicate and illustrate technical concepts effectively.\n\nAbility to work collaboratively, share knowledge, and contribute to a positive team culture.\n\nDesirable Certifications\nMicrosoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert\n\nMicrosoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate\n\nHashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate\n\nNice to Have\nExperience using Jira as a ticket management solution.\n\nFamiliarity with Kanban boards and understanding of basic workflow principles.\n\nExperience working in a Scrum environment and team setup.\n\nUnderstanding and use of story pointing and estimations.\n\nDemonstrated ability to work in cross-team / cross-functional environments, such as multi-disciplinary project delivery.\n\nWhat we offer\nWork life blend: we offer a safe & healthy workplace, with flexible working hours and the possibility to work from home\n\nProfit share scheme: In addition to your annual salary, you may receive a profit share defined by the company’s success in the previous year\n\nGlobal and Diverse Zühlke community: witness how colleagues from all our 16 offices across the globe come together to create a unique, positive and inclusive work culture, learning from one another at annual team camps, and celebrating year-end parties and other local festivities.\n\nCommitted to development: we are committed to the growth of our people and are investing in your development.
