New York… \nWe are a full-service creative agency, launched in NYC summer of 2022, to bring the independent and irreverent spirit of Fighting Sameness to the US market (Z.A.K. has existed in Toronto since 2008, and in Vancouver since 2022). \nWhile we are new to NYC and have a start-up vibe, our team has years of collective experience building best-class-brands at top NY agencies, with the backing and support of a 170-person office in Canada. Everyone who joins the team, regardless of discipline, should see themselves as strategic, creative and entrepreneurially minded. \nCore responsibilities of the Account Director role include: \nKey senior day-to-day point of contact for client and internal team; must have a proven track record of building trusting, professional relationships internally, with clients, and partners\nMaintains proactive consistent communication with GAD and/or MD on account status\nProven experience managing and executing fully integrated campaigns with a balance between digital/interactive/social marketing focus and traditional above the line\nAbility to influence, drive, and sell integrated strategic initiatives\nInfluences the development of the highest quality of creative work by sharing knowledge of the client’s business/brand/category and demonstrating strong creative judgment\nAbility to cultivate strong relationships and partner effectively with all internal agency functions\nWith strategic and creative partners, helps devise short + long term strategies and opportunities for client with creative opportunities and revenue growth \nProactively leads annual planning processes, SOW, and resource allocations \nOversees account administration, strong fiscal acumen, driving process; troubleshoots day-to-day account issues with ease \nOwns the communication between agency, client and partner agencies (media, retail, digital, PR, etc.) to ensure seamless collaboration \nResponsible for direct reports professional development and performance reviews \nQualifications & Experience: \n8+ years of experience in advertising creative agency\nAn amazing relationship builder who is entrepreneurial in spirit - we want a champion of creative thinking who embraces a challenge\nAbility to work under pressure and rally team to meet deadlines in a fast-paced creative environment - independently takes initiative with thorough follow-up ability \nExtensive Digital and Broadcast Production experience is essential\nIncredibly well organized, collaborative, receptive to change, laser focused on detail\nFrom time to time, after hours work and overnight traveling to meetings, shoots and/or post sessions may be required \nCompensation for this role ranges from $150,000 to $170,000 USD, depending on experience. \nZulu Alpha Kilo is an equal opportunity employer.
