Join us to co-create the future of light, where embedded intelligence and high-performance systems l ay the foundation fortomorrow’s smart lighting.\nstyle=\"text-align:left\">\nResponsibilities\nDevelop, test, and maintain embedded firmware for advanced lighting control systems.\nStrong proficiency in embedded C with hands-on experience in low-level software development\nDesign and implement efficient, scalable, and robust solutions using the C programming language.\n Integrate and interface with a variety of hardware components, including DALI interfaces, NFC tags, non-volatile memory (NVM), RTCs, FPGAs, and more.\nApply best-practice embedded design principles, including structured event-driven architectures, stateless protocols, and resilience engineering within a continuous integration and deployment environment.\nDevelop new firmware modules to enable new lighting features and behaviours.\nCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware, architecture, and other software engineers.\nEnsure code quality through clean code practices, rigorous code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and performance tuning.\nUtilize debugging and validation tools such as logic analysers, oscilloscopes, and static code analysers.\nProduce clear, maintainable technical documentation, including specifications, architecture, and code-level references.\nstyle=\"text-align:left\">\nSkills & Experience\nWe encourage you to apply even if you do not meet all the requirements. Your motivation and potential matter more than perfection:\nA degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.\nStrong proficiency in embedded C with hands-on experience in low-level software development.\nSolid understanding of microcontroller-based systems; experience with STM32 platforms is a plus.\nProven ability to design software for resource-constrained environments with performance-critical requirements.\nStrong analytical skills to identify and resolve complex firmware issues such as timing jitters, race conditions, and memory handling problems.\nExperience with source control systems (e.g., Git), automated testing, and debugging using lab equipment.\nFamiliarity with Zephyr RTOS and/or other real-time operating systems is a plus.\nKnowledge of wireless protocols and IoT technologie s is desirable.\nA proactive, solution-oriented mindset and ability to thrive in a collaborative, agile team environment.\nFluency in Portuguese and professional working proficiency in English, both written and spoken.\nWhat we offer\nFlexible working hours and a hybrid work model. \nLunch Vouchers. \nPrivate Health Insurance. \nTransport Subsidy: Financial support to cover commuting costs for employees.\nWhat matters to us\nWe understand not only the power of the visible, but also the\ninvisible.
