Responsibilities

• Defines the overarching structure, design patterns, and technical standards for the REST API ecosystem as well as other backend services
• Automates the build, test, and deployment processes to ensure fast, reliable, and repeatable delivery of the REST API
• Support for design of software systems in an C++, C#, .NET, HTML/JS/TS & Microsoft SQL environment
• Safeguards the C# REST API and underlying architecture against vulnerabilities, unauthorized access, and data breaches
• Ensures the reliability, performance, and correctness of the C# REST API through automated and manual testing methodologies
• Design, extension and support of interfaces from and to lighting design solutions and product data management tools with focus on 3D technologies in backend and frontend solutions
• 3rd level support on technical inquiries and incidents

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master Degree in Computer Science, IT or related technical field and technical engineering experience
• Experience in the area of software design, technical standards, integration design and scalability planning
• Experience of pipeline automation, artifact and environment management as well as related technical stack and skills (CI/CD platforms, build tools, containerization)
• Experience of vulnerability scanning, access control, secrets management, code review as well as compliance and audit
• Experience of API testing, automation development, performance testing, collaborating and tracking
• Technical stack for REST API design and architecture based on .NET, design patterns, data/ORM and documentation standards as OpenAPI
• Good knowledge of programming technologies like OpenGL/WebGL, HTML/Typescript/Javascript, Python are of advantage
• Experience with creating chatbots and operationalizing as well as developing and training machine learning models are of advantage
