You’ll work across the full engineering lifecycle, creating reusable services and patterns that make AI delivery safer, faster and more consistent.\nThis is a hands-on opportunity to solve meaningful customer and business problems while helping shape how AI is engineered and operated in a regulated environment. Your work will directly support Zurich’s ambition to become Australia’s leading digital insurer.\nYou will also be responsible for the following:\nDeliver production-grade agentic AI solutions across discovery, experimentation, design, build and operation.\nApply and improve reusable engineering patterns, shared services and technical guardrails for AI delivery.\nImplement evaluation, observability and cost-management frameworks to improve the performance and reliability of AI solutions.\nDesign secure APIs and interfaces that connect large language models with core enterprise systems.\nEmbed DevSecOps, automated testing and secure-by-design practices throughout the AI delivery lifecycle.\nPartner with product, design, subject matter experts and engineers to translate customer and business needs into deployable AI capability.\nImportant to your success - let’s grow together\n\nYou are naturally curious and enjoy turning complex, ambiguous problems into practical solutions. You bring a strong delivery mindset, communicate technical trade-offs clearly and build trusted relationships with stakeholders across product, design and engineering.\nIn order to be successful, you will have the following:\nProduction experience building AI agents using modern frameworks such as LangGraph, AWS AgentCore and MCP.\nProfessional software engineering experience, including designing, building and operating AI or large language model-based systems in production.\nStrong AWS engineering capability across services such as Bedrock, Lambda, API Gateway, SageMaker, ECS, S3 and IAM.\nFull-stack development capability using TypeScript, Node.js and Python, with React or Next.js frontend experience.\nExperience designing REST or GraphQL APIs and applying authentication patterns including OAuth, OIDC, JWT and IAM.\nApplied experience in AI evaluation, guardrails, observability, cost management, CI/CD automation and secure DevSecOps delivery.\n\nBelong.
