All hiring decisions are reviewed and made by qualified hiring professionals.\nZurich follows a hybrid work model requiring three days per week of in-person presence, which may include time in the office or market-facing engagements.\nWhat You Will Do\nDevelop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for Guidewire applications.\nContribute to development activities within the Guidewire application environment.\nAutomate key business workflows and end-to-end scenarios across Guidewire and integrated applications.\nSupport UI, API, regression, smoke, and integration testing activities.\nCollaborate with developers, quality assurance engineers, business analysts, and Guidewire subject matter experts to translate business and technical requirements into automated solutions.\nAssist in integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines under the guidance of senior team members.\nMaintain test data, automation documentation, and execution results.\nInvestigate automation failures and support defect identification, analysis, and troubleshooting.\nParticipate in code reviews and adhere to established coding, testing, and automation standards.\nDevelop an understanding of application architecture, interfaces, APIs, databases, and supporting systems.Continuously expand knowledge of Guidewire functionality, insurance business processes, and automation technologies.\n\nJob Qualifications- What you bring to the table\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent technical experience.\nBasic programming or scripting knowledge in Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, or similar languages.\nBasic knowledge of Guidewire InsuranceSuite, preferably PolicyCenter.\nUnderstanding of software development lifecycle and software testing fundamentals.\nExposure to automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Karate, Cucumber, or similar technologies.\nBasic understanding of REST APIs and API testing concepts.\nFamiliarity with databases and basic SQL.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nEffective communication and collaboration skills.\nDemonstrated eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced technology environment.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nPrevious academic, internship, co-op, or project experience involving Guidewire InsuranceSuite.\nExposure to CI/CD concepts and DevOps practices.\nExposure to insurance industry technology platforms and business processes.\nCompensation\nAt Zurich Canada, we are committed to pay equity. We determine compensation based on objective criteria such as skills, experience, and internal equity. The salary range for this position is $62,500 - $86,100 .
