This role focuses on technical execution, configuration, integrations, and delivering high-quality solutions following industry best practices.\nKey Responsibilities\nGuidewire Development & Configuration\nConfigure and customize Guidewire modules (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter) based on business requirements.\nDevelop business rules, screens, validations, and workflows using GOSU and Guidewire Studio.\nUpdate and maintain data models, including entities, typelists, and attributes.\nIntegrations\nBuild and maintain integrations with external systems using: \nSOAP and REST Web Services\nJMS Messaging\nBatch Processes\nDevelop connectors, endpoints, transformations, and error-handling logic.\nQuality Assurance\nPerform unit testing and support integration and system testing efforts.\nTroubleshoot defects, document solutions, and collaborate with QA teams for validation.\nCollaboration & SDLC Participation\nWork closely with Business Analysts, QA, and fellow developers to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.\nParticipate in code reviews and follow development standards and best practices.\nProvide effort estimations and assist in impact analysis for enhancements or fixes.\nRequirements\nProven experience as a Guidewire Developer in PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter.\nStrong knowledge of GOSU, Java, and XML.\nExperience with SOAP/REST integrations and messaging technologies.\nFamiliarity with SDLC processes and Agile methodologies.\nAbility to read and write technical documentation in English.\nProvide workload estimations, define work packages, and support planning, delivery, and release management.\nCoordinate activities across onshore and offshore teams to ensure smooth execution and alignment.\nQuality Assurance\nOversee unit testing, integration testing, and quality validation efforts.\nEnsure technical documentation is accurate, complete, and aligned with implementation standards.\nValidate deliverables to ensure compliance with business requirements and technical specifications.\nRequired Qualifications\n3+ years of experience in software development with strong expertise in Guidewire InsuranceSuite.\nHandson experience with implementations and upgrades of PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter.\nStrong background in Java, API development, integration frameworks, and insurance domain processes.\nProven experience leading technical teams and managing cross functional project stakeholders.functional project stakeholders.\nStrong communication skills in English; bilingual Spanish a plus.\n Preferred Qualifications\nGuidewire Certifications (e.g., Ace ClaimCenter Configuration, Specialist PolicyCenter Configuration, Integration Certifications).\nExperience with cloud integrations (e.g., AWS, third-party rating engines, external policy/claims systems).party rating engines, external policy/claims systems).\nPrior experience in consulting or enterprise level multisystem implementations.level multisystem implementations.\nFamiliarity with Agile methodologies and modern development practices.\nSoft Skills\nStrong leadership and team coaching capabilities.coaching capabilities.\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.solving skills.\nAbility to translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.\nHigh accountability, ownership, and attention to detail.\nPosition available only for candidates located in Mexico City, State of Mexico, or Guadalajara.
