And we're only getting started.\nWHAT YOU'LL BRING\nCurrent enrolment in or recent graduation from design led tertiary level institute or similar\n\nAn understanding of graphic design software, particularly Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe After Effects and Figma)\n\nCreativity and a strong eye for design, layout, and typography\n\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills\n\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively and follow instructions\n\nDetail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality work\n\nBasic knowledge of design principles and best practice\n\nGreat attention to detail, file management, and timeliness with tasks; ability to self-manage with strong problem-solving skill\n\nIllustration skills are an added advantage\n\nROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES\nGraphic Design: Assist the design team in creating visually appealing graphics and materials for a wide range of projects, including:\n\no Digital, social and marketing content\no Brand identity and packaging design\no Design digital assets including social tiles, Instagram stories, animations, and video\no Produce printed design assets for retail and advertising\no Design presentations using Figma\no Other tasks management may deem appropriate from time to time\nConceptualisation: Work closely with team members to brainstorm and develop design concepts and ideas for various projects\n\nSoftware Proficiency: Gain proficiency in industry-standard graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects and Figma) to create and edit design assets\n\nTypography and Layout: Work closely with team and take direction from design leads to deliver diverse, unique and best-in-class design that meet objectives of all set tasks. Maintain an eye for detail and high quality across all areas of design\n\nImage Editing: Edit and retouch images to enhance their quality and suitability for specific projects\n\nCollaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver designs that align with the company's objectives\n\nFile Management: Organise and maintain design files and assets to ensure easy accessibility for team members\n\nFeedback Incorporation: Be open to feedback and make revisions as required to meet project specifications and improve design quality\n\nTime Management: Manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively, ensuring timely delivery of design assets. Understanding project requirements and briefs, turning these around in an efficient manner to meet set deadlines\n\nResearch and Trends: Stay updated with the latest design trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to design projects.\n\nWho thrives at ZURU\nThis isn't a 9-to-5.
