We value work/life balance, creativity, collaboration, and making a difference in the community.\nWe are seeking a full-time Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team at our distribution facility in Winchester, Virginia.\n POSITION SUMMARY:\nThe Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for leading all day-to-day warehouse operations to ensure safe, efficient, accurate, and timely receipt, storage, and distribution of products. This role oversees labor, inventory control, shipping, receiving, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and company standards. The manager partners cross-functionally to support customer service levels, cost control, and operational scalability.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:\nOperational Leadership\nDirect and manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, and cycle counting\nEnsure fulfillment accuracy, order timeliness, and productivity targets are consistently met or exceeded\nEstablish and optimize standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency and reduce errors\nPlan labor and workflow based on volume forecasts and operational needs\nInventory & Quality Control\nOversee inventory accuracy through cycle counts, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions\nEnsure proper handling and storage of all products, including fragile, high-value, or regulated items\nMonitor shrink, damages, and discrepancies and implement prevention strategies\nPartner with Inventory and Planning teams to maintain optimal stock levels\nPeople Management & Development\nLead, train, coach, and develop warehouse supervisors and associates\nSet clear performance expectations supported by measurable KPIs\nConduct performance reviews and support succession planning\nFoster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement\nSafety & Compliance\nEnforce all OSHA, company safety programs, and regulatory requirements\nPromote a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment (5S principles)\nContinuous Improvement & Cost Control\nIdentify process improvement opportunities using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies\nReduce labor and materials costs while maintaining service levels\nSupport warehouse layout optimization, slotting, and automation initiatives\nLeverage WMS and reporting tools to drive data-based decisions\nTechnology & Systems\nEnsure effective use of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and related tools\nPartner with IT and Operations leadership on system upgrades, integrations, and automation projects\nAnalyze operational reports and trends to improve performance\n Required Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)\n5+ years of warehouse or distribution center operations experience\n2+ years of people management or supervisory experience\nStrong working knowledge of WMS, inventory control, and fulfillment processes\nProven experience managing KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives\nProfiecient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in high-volume, multi-SKU distribution environments\nLean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement certification\nExperience with warehouse automation and material handling equipment\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\n The anticipated salary range for this position is $70,000-$90,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, as well as the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
