We offer challenging career opportunities, competitive benefits and an environment that recognizes and rewards performance.\nThis role will be located in Vancouver, BC and is full-time onsite.\nWhat You'll Do\nPerform protein purification and analytical characterization of various protein-based molecules.\nDesign, plan and execute experiments to characterize multispecific antibody-based therapeutics through developability assays.\nMay assist in affinity measurements to screen protein therapeutics.\nTroubleshoot methods, suggest improvements and develop new technologies for project advancement.\nWrite standard operating procedures for methods requiring significant technical understanding, data manipulation and calculations.\nAnalyze data, draw conclusions and participate in cross-departmental activities.\nMaintain a clean, organized and operational lab. \nConduct all activities in accordance with scientific standards, OH&S regulations and established policies and practices.\nActively work to foster an environment of effective and collaborative working relationships across the organization.\nWhat You'll Bring\nA BSc in a relevant scientific discipline (biochemistry, immunology, etc.) and a minimum of 2-3 years related experience or a Master’s degree with an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nHands-on experience in protein purification (affinity, protein A/G/L, IEX, and SEC).\nExperience in protein analytical techniques (e.g. PAGE, CE-SDS, ELISA, MSD, UPLC-SEC).\nKnowledge in therapeutics developability assays (AC-SINS, non-specific ELISA, HIC).\nUnderstanding of different affinity measurement methods (e.g. SPR, BLI, KinExA, on-cell binding).\nAbility to work collaboratively as a member of cross-functional team.\nGood organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a high paced, fast changing environment.\nAbility to present data at team and inter-departmental meetings.\nTotal Rewards\nWe offer a comprehensive total rewards package, which includes competitive salaries, generous benefits, an outstanding work environment, and excellent opportunities for professional growth.
