Role Overview

We are looking for a versatile and experienced Senior Concept Artist to join our production team. You will be responsible for creating high-quality 2D art assets-ranging from character concepts and environmental backgrounds to fully integrated UI layouts in Unity. The ideal candidate blends artistic talent with a practical understanding of engine implementation and mobile/web game production pipelines.

What You'll Do:

• 2D Art Production: Design and render high-quality 2D character artwork, props, UI elements, and background environments (BGs) tailored to project visual styles.
• UI Integration & Workflows: Slice, optimize, and organize UI assets for engine readiness. Build and test responsive UI layouts within Unity to ensure visual integrity across multiple device aspect ratios.
• Asset Management: Maintain clean, structured layer files and organized asset hierarchies to ensure seamless handoffs to developers and animators.
• Visual Direction & Consistency: Apply strong core art fundamentals-composition, color theory, lighting, perspective, and rendering styles-across various genres and visual themes.
• Market-Aware Creativity: Stay aligned with current mobile and web gaming trends, translating industry standards into engaging, competitive visual content.

What You Will Bring:

• Experience: 3-7 years of professional experience in game art, with a primary focus on 2D character art, environment design, and UI asset creation.
• Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Unity, supported by a proven track record of shipping mobile or web games.
• Engine & UI Integration: Hands-on experience setting up interactive, responsive UI screens and UI component libraries inside Unity.
• Strong Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing a diverse range of work, including high-level concept art, polished 2D assets, functional UI elements, and clean layer organization.
• Game Industry Knowledge: A real passion for playing and analyzing games, along with a solid understanding of current design trends and player expectations.
