As a Software Architect you will be responsible for the technical vision, design and implementation of AI-powered tools and systems that elevate developer productivity and player experiences at scale. We're looking for outstanding engineers with a passion for artificial intelligence and the desire to work in a team with dynamic strengths.\nWhat You'll Do:\nDesign and architect scalable AI systems, full stack applications, and cloud infrastructure running in AWS with a focus on LLM-powered services and agentic workflows\n\nOwn cross-cutting architecture decisions and the technical strategy for AI tools that multiple game studios and engineering teams across Zynga depend on\n\nEstablish and uphold engineering standards: code quality, testing, review culture, CI/CD, and reliability practices.\n\nAdvocate for and implement new AI technologies, frameworks, and engineering standards, keeping the team at the forefront of a rapidly evolving landscape\n\nEvaluate and choose AI platforms and infrastructure with a long-term lens.\n\nDocument and build comprehensive plans for architecture and system designs across the AI tooling ecosystem.\n\nWork collaboratively across game studios, product, and central technology teams to understand developer needs and propose AI-driven solutions that meaningfully improve productivity\n\nEstablish engineering processes and metrics to measure software process, operations, and quality\n\nPartner with stakeholder on realistic scoping and sequencing; flag technical risk early.\n\nCoach and mentor engineers\n\nWhat You Bring:\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent\n\n8+ years of professional experience in software development of cloud based software\n\nExperience with AI/ML systems integration at the platform layer.\n\nDemonstrated expertise in Python across multiple programming languages, architectures, and system types.\n\nStrong familiarity and experience using AWS and/or other cloud computing platforms (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)\n\nExperience with containers and Kubernetes/EKS\n\nExperience with database systems (SQL, NoSQL)\n\nDeep understanding of algorithms, design patterns, debugging and performance optimization\n\nExcellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with senior leadership with confidence and clarity\n\nFamiliarity with web development using JS, Angular and React is a plus\n\nWhat We Offer You:\nZynga offers a world-class benefits package that helps support and balance the needs of our teams.
