Key Responsibilities:● ETL Pipeline Development: Design, develop, and automate scalable Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL/ELT) processes to move data from various government source systems into our central data warehouse.● AWS Infrastructure Management: Utilize AWS cloud services (such as S3, Glue, Lambda, RDS, or Redshift) to architect secure and efficient data solutions.● Data Transformation & Coding: Write clean, maintainable Python code for complex data manipulation, cleansing, and validation to ensure high data quality standards.● Business Intelligence Reporting: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop interactive, high-impact dashboards and reports using Power BI or Tableau to track key performance indicators (KPIs).● Data Governance: Ensure all data architecture complies with federal security standards, data governance policies, and privacy regulations. Required Qualifications:● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.● Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering or ETL development.● Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing complex ETL pipelines.● Strong proficiency in Python for data processing and scripting.● Proven experience working within the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud environment.● Significant experience developing advanced reports and visualizations using either Microsoft Power BI or Tableau.● Strong SQL skills for querying and analyzing data.
