The Senior Test Engineer is accountable for achieving client satisfaction and ensuring the overall quality of the testing phase. We expect the Senior Test Engineer to have the ability to identify and work with metrics to ensure that the testing process satisfies the organisational and project requirements. The Senior Test Engineer should be able to plan, schedule testing tasks , to analyse, evaluate & ensure the quality of testing and lead, mentor the testing team to focus on quality deliverables.\nSelected candidates will be placed at our office in Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram or at Kochi. Outstation candidates can avail work from home option on a permanent basis.\nResponsibilities:\nDeveloping Test plan & Testing Strategy\n\nLead the team to perform end to end application testing right from requirement analysis to system study, test design, test execution and documentation and ensure on time and on schedule testing delivery.\n\nClosely work with the Business Analysis Team & client to understand and analyse requirements and give valid suggestions based on domain experience.\n\nClosely work with clients to discuss the open issues and strategy to be taken.\n\nAnalyse the test reports and ensure regularity on reporting the same to stakeholders.\n\nEffectively prioritize, manage, track, and report project status.\n\nIdentify areas for tool based testing and ensure proper tools are being used.\n\nEnsure a standard level of NFR testing such as SEO, Security, Accessibility & Performance is done for all the projects.\n\nPreparation of Test Certificate or Test Sign off document, Define work pack rejection Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines\n\nIdentifying risks & issues and finding out mitigation and contingency plans along with the development team.\n\nReviewing & updating test artifacts, Collecting test metrics.\n\nTechnical skills:\nExperience in back end and front end integration testing.\n\nExperience on different content types, Validating Content addition workflow & Content publishing workflow Knowledge in Configuration settings.\n\nKnowledge in tools such as Invision, Zeplin, Postman etc.\n\nExperience in responsive testing, Cross Browser Testing, mobile app testing.\n\nExperience in SEO, Security, Accessibility & Performance.\n\nExperience in building automation framework, writing, executing & reviewing test scripts, conducting automation feasibility analysis & come up with automation plan and schedule and verify Testing Reports.\n\nTeam Management skills:\n\nQualification:\nB Tech Computer Science/MCA\n2+ years of experience in leading a team\nGood to have:\nExperience in automation using Behat/ Cypress\n\nAbout Us\nAt Zyxware Technologies, we help organizations leverage the opportunities of Digital Transformation.\nOur expertise in Business, Engineering and Experience, aid us in our quest to define and execute the next steps in the digital transformation of our clients.\nWho are we as people?\nThe sustainable results we have created for our clients is made possible by our focus on users, scalability and adaptability.
