Projects

Delivered a set of clinic-specific healthcare apps built from a shared codebase using flavors for different medical institutions. Each app supports appointment scheduling, access to medical records, and provider communication tailored to the clinic. Ensured consistency across institutions while keeping the implementation modular and reusable.
Developed a pair of healthcare applications for patients and partner providers. Built patient workflows for appointment management and medical record access, and partner workflows for handling patient interactions and information. Implemented the apps as connected services to support consistent healthcare operations.
Created two interconnected pharmacy apps: a customer app for browsing products and ordering with prescription uploads, and a driver app for delivery management and tracking. Implemented both apps from scratch in Jetpack Compose with shared backend connectivity. Delivered coordinated user journeys for placing and fulfilling orders end-to-end.
Built a fintech mobile app for secure P2P transactions and escrow payments where funds are released after delivery confirmation. Implemented Kotlin and Jetpack Compose UI with an MVVM approach and REST API integration. Added Firebase support and secure authentication with payment-related flows.
Developed a dual-sided travel platform connecting travelers and local guides for booking personalized tours. Implemented Android and Flutter components with a modular architecture, ViewModel-based MVVM, and dependency injection. Integrated Google Maps and Firebase services, and connected the client to REST APIs for tour and guide functionality.

Middle Mobile Developer Confidence: High Cross-platform
Cross-platform mobile engineer (middle-level) who builds practical Flutter and native Android client apps with a focus on UI and client-side feature implementation. The strongest proven skill is modern Android app architecture and state management as shown in MoviesViewModel.kt and MoviesFragment.kt using Paging, Hilt, viewModelScope and repeatOnLifecycle. There is little public evidence of production-grade CI/CD, widespread automated testing, advanced offline sync or measured performance tuning.
Platform Native Mastery
4/10
Knowing the mobile platform
Shows correct lifecycle and structured-concurrency patterns (repeatOnLifecycle, viewModelScope, rememberSaveable) across native Android and Compose, but no evidence of process-death restoration or advanced lifecycle edge-case handling.
Evidence
moviesDB/app/src/main/java/com/softxpert/moviesdb/ui/main/MoviesFragment.kt: viewLifecycleOwner.repeatOnLifecycle usage for collecting flows
moviesDB/app/src/main/java/com/softxpert/moviesdb/ui/main/MoviesViewModel.kt: viewModelScope, cachedIn(viewModelScope) and coroutine usage
PostsApp/app/src/main/java/com/example/postsapp/presentation/ui/dialogs/addEditPost/AddEditDialog.kt: rememberSaveable for image Uri and Compose state handling
Mobile UI/UX & Responsiveness
5/10
Smooth mobile experience
Good practical UI work in both Compose and Flutter using Material3 and responsive widgets, lazy lists and custom components, but limited evidence of adaptive layouts for many device classes or accessibility audits.
Evidence
PostsApp/app/src/main/java/com/example/postsapp/presentation/ui/theme/Theme.kt: dynamicLightColorScheme and dynamicDarkColorScheme (Material3) usage
resturant_task/lib/Features/Details/presentation/pages/food_details_page.dart: DraggableScrollableSheet and responsive layout with flutter_screenutil
PostsApp/app/src/main/java/com/example/postsapp/presentation/ui/screens/posts/PostsScreen.kt: LazyColumn and Compose-based list UI patterns
Performance & Battery
4/10
Speed and battery use
Applies common performance patterns (Paging, cachedIn, Room/Glide) and sensible UI choices, but lacks measured profiling data, baseline benchmarks, or documented performance tuning steps.
Evidence
moviesDB/build.gradle: Room and Paging dependencies configured
moviesDB/app/src/main/java/com/softxpert/moviesdb/ui/main/MoviesViewModel.kt: uses cachedIn(viewModelScope) and paging transformations
resturant_task/lib/Features/cart/ui/screens/cart_screen.dart: ListView.builder usage and flutter_screenutil for responsive sizing
Offline & Data Sync
3/10
Working offline and syncing
Some offline/caching artifacts and paging + Room dependencies suggest caching awareness, but there is no visible sync engine, migration history, conflict resolution or robust offline-first patterns.
Evidence
moviesDB/build.gradle: includes Room and room-paging dependencies
moviesDB/app/src/main/java/com/softxpert/moviesdb/domain/model/category/Category.kt: imports referencing data.cache.Cache and CachedMovie
Device Integration
5/10
Using device features
Solid device-integration basics: runtime permission flow for image picking in Compose and a Flutter notification channel with launch code, including denial handling for gallery permission.
Evidence
PostsApp/app/src/main/java/com/example/postsapp/presentation/ui/views/ImagePickerProfile.kt: runtime permission checks, ActivityResultContracts and denial Toast handling
resturant_task/lib/Core/Service/local_notification_service.dart: AndroidNotificationChannel creation and launchNotification implementation
Release & App Lifecycle
2/10
Building and publishing apps
Minimal release and CI evidence; build files contain proguard and signing placeholders but no CI/CD, fastlane, staged rollouts or integrated crash-reporting configurations.
Evidence
moviesDB/app/build.gradle: proguardFiles configuration and buildConfigField for API_KEY
resturant_task/android/app/build.gradle: release signingConfig set to debug with a TODO comment

Recommendations
  • Lead development of small-to-medium consumer mobile apps that combine Flutter UI plus native Android components such as restaurant ordering, media catalogs or CRUD apps.
  • Implement networked features and offline caching using Retrofit, Paging and Room while hardening error handling and adding migration and sync strategies.
  • Build Compose-based screens and platform integrations (permissions, image picker, local notifications) and add end-to-end tests and CI pipelines for release readiness.
Repositories
The developer's experience in this domain has been verified based on AI analysis of the following repositories:
Junior Frontend Developer Confidence: High UI Engineer
A junior frontend engineer specializing in polished, responsive static UI with a strong eye for visual design and micro-interactions. The primary proven skill is implementing a polished portfolio site with responsive CSS, reveal animations driven by IntersectionObserver, and lightweight accessible menu toggling (abdelrahim97.github.io/index.html, style.css, script.js). There is no evidence of SPA architecture, async state management, automated tests or advanced build/tooling in the public code.
UI Component Architecture
2/10
How interface parts are built
Basic, hand-crafted component structure for a static site with CSS utility classes and semantic sections but no component system, design tokens, or reusable JS component abstractions.
Responsive & Cross-browser
4/10
Works on all screens and browsers
Thoughtful responsive work using media queries, fluid type (clamp) and layout adjustments for breakpoints; standard cross-browser meta and preconnect hints present.
Performance Optimization
3/10
Speed of the interface
Some lightweight performance awareness: IntersectionObserver-driven reveal animations, preconnect for fonts and small, focused JS; no measured metrics, bundle-splitting or advanced optimizations.
Accessibility & Semantics
3/10
Usable for everyone
Basic accessibility and semantics are present - lang attribute, header/main/sections and an aria-labeled toggle button with aria-expanded - but no advanced focus management or explicit keyboard handling for custom widgets.
State Management & Data Flow
1/10
Managing data in the app
Minimal client state: a simple menu-open class toggle and reveal marking are present, but there is no async state discipline, request cancellation, optimistic updates or state-machine patterns.
UX & Visual Polish
4/10
Look and feel quality
Strong visual polish and UX details for a static site: reveal animations, hover interactions, floating chips and cursor-glow provide a crafted experience, though these are presentation-focused rather than system-level UX patterns.
