External Audit Management: Directed the end-to-end external audit lifecycle for the company. Acted as the primary liaison with external auditors, providing comprehensive schedules, aging reports, unbilled revenue breakdowns, and executing necessary audit adjustment entries to secure the finalized audit reports without delay.
Regional Tax Compliance (GCC & MENA): Managed the accurate preparation, filing, and submission of monthly and quarterly Value Added Tax (VAT) and Withholding Tax (WHT) returns across jurisdictions: KSA, UAE, Oman, Bahrain, and Lebanon.
ZATCA Liaison & Resolution: Successfully handled all communications and inquiries from the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) in Saudi Arabia, providing requested documentation and resolving queries promptly to ensure full regulatory compliance.
Intercompany Accounting: Monitored and executed complex cross-border intercompany balance confirmations ensuring accurate multi-currency reconciliation and seamless elimination of payables/receivables during group consolidation.
Financial Reconciliations: Oversaw the timely and accurate completion of critical bank reconciliations and general ledger reviews, ensuring all financial data was strictly aligned for month-end and year-end reporting
Local Content Audit Management: Coordinate the end-to-end yearly Local Content audit in compliance with LCGPA regulations to successfully secure the company's baseline certificate.
Financial Data Extraction & Preparation: Extract, reconcile, and format regional financial records—specifically focusing on local vendor spending, Saudi national payroll costs, and domestic capital expenditure (CapEx).
Vendor and Supply Chain Analysis: Analyze and classify suppliers based on their local content scores to maximize the company's overall local contribution score.
Liaison with External Auditors: Act as the primary point of contact for LCGPA-certified external audit firms, managing fieldwork, responding to technical queries, and ensuring all required schedules match the audited Trial Balance.
