Overview
Barings is a global alternative and fixed income asset manager serving institutional, insurance and intermediary clients. It invests across public and private credit, real estate equity and debt, capital solutions, emerging markets and multi-asset strategies, with private credit a core franchise. The firm was formed in 2016 by combining Babson Capital Management, Cornerstone Real Estate Advisers and Baring Asset Management, is headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, and is a subsidiary of MassMutual.
