BBC

The BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) is the UK public service broadcaster, headquartered at Broadcasting House in London, England, running national television and radio channels, BBC iPlayer, BBC Sounds, BBC News, BBC Sport and the Bitesize learning service. Established in 1922 and operating under a Royal Charter funded mainly by the licence fee, it also runs the World Service in dozens of languages, BBC Monitoring and the commercial production and distribution arm BBC Studios. It hires journalists, video and data reporters, editors, broadcast operators, software and security engineers, data scientists, legal, finance and commercial rights staff across the UK and international bureaux.
