Overview
Belgo Arames is a Brazilian manufacturer of steel wire and wire products headquartered in Contagem, Minas Gerais, supplying fencing, construction, agribusiness, automotive, mining, oil and welding markets. Associated with ArcelorMittal Brasil and the Belgian wire group Bekaert, it produces wire, strand, ready-made fences, gabions, welding consumables and the Bezinal coating line at plants in Minas Gerais, Bahia and Sao Paulo, and sells through distributors and franchised stores. It hires production operators, maintenance and process engineers, supply analysts and a large intake of technical and university interns and young apprentices.
