CHS is a US agribusiness cooperative headquartered in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota, owned by farmers, ranchers and member cooperatives and active in agronomy, grain marketing, oilseed processing, animal nutrition and energy. Formed in 1998 from the merger of Cenex and Harvest States Cooperatives, it is the largest farmer-owned cooperative in the US, markets Cenex fuels, lubricants and propane, operates refineries, pipelines and grain terminals, and serves customers in 65 countries. It hires truck and hazmat drivers, operations specialists, feed mill and terminal operators, maintenance technicians, agronomy and energy sales representatives, store clerks and commodity analysts.
