Overview
CrowdStrike is an American cybersecurity company founded in 2011 that popularised cloud-delivered endpoint protection built around a single lightweight sensor. Its Falcon platform streams telemetry from protected machines into a shared analytics backend, which is used for prevention, detection, threat hunting, identity protection, cloud workload security and log analytics sold as separate modules. The company is headquartered in Austin, listed on Nasdaq, and is also known for its incident response practice and its published research on nation-state and criminal intrusion groups.
