Cytokinetics is a specialty cardiovascular biopharmaceutical company headquartered in South San Francisco, California, that discovers and develops small-molecule muscle activators and inhibitors for diseases of impaired muscle function. Founded in 1997 by four muscle biology researchers, it is listed on Nasdaq and markets MYQORZO (aficamten) for obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, with a commercial office in Radnor, Pennsylvania and teams in the UK, Switzerland, France, Ireland and Spain.
