Overview
data.ai, founded as App Annie, measures the mobile app economy, estimating downloads, revenue, active usage and advertising performance across the major app stores and hundreds of markets. Publishers, investors and consumer brands use its benchmarks to size opportunities, track competitors and decide where to spend on user acquisition, since store-level data is otherwise invisible outside each developer's own console. The company was acquired by Sensor Tower in 2024 and its datasets continue inside the combined business.
