Houston Engineering, known as HEI, is a civil engineering, surveying, environmental and technology consulting firm headquartered in Fargo, North Dakota. Founded by George Houston in 1968 and now fully employee-owned, it has grown to 15 offices across the Midwest, including Bismarck, Grand Forks, Minot, Des Moines, Maple Grove and Sioux Falls, and has served clients in more than 41 states as well as Mexico and Canada. It hires civil engineers at EIT and PE levels across water resources, transportation, traffic, structural and municipal work, along with civil engineering technicians and engineering interns.
