Overview
Invesco is an American investment manager founded in 1935 that grew largely by acquisition into one of the larger asset managers in the world, running money across equities, fixed income, alternatives and exchange traded funds. Its most valuable single asset is QQQ, the exchange traded fund tracking the Nasdaq-100 and among the most heavily traded securities in existence, alongside a substantial institutional and retail fund business. Headquartered in Atlanta and listed on the New York Stock Exchange, it faces the same fee compression that has pushed the whole active management industry toward scale or specialisation.
