Overview
The LSU AgCenter is the agricultural research and extension arm of the Louisiana State University system, based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and together with the LSU College of Agriculture it runs research, teaching and outreach in crops, livestock, aquaculture, natural resources, food and health. It operates research stations across the state and extension offices in the parishes, runs 4-H youth programmes and nutrition education, and publishes Louisiana Agriculture magazine and management guides for producers. Its staff includes extension agents, researchers, 4-H and nutrition educators and support personnel at the Baton Rouge campus, research stations and parish offices.
