Luxna Biotech is a preclinical-stage Japanese biotechnology company that develops antisense oligonucleotide (ASO) therapeutics using novel modified nucleoside chemistries and an original drug discovery platform called LuxiAPT. It leverages modified nucleosides invented at Osaka University alongside the LuxiAPT platform to discover and co-develop ASO drugs in collaboration with pharmaceutical companies and academic laboratories across multiple disease targets. The company places particular emphasis on neurological disorders and is pursuing both in-house programs and partnerships to develop therapies for spinal cord injury.
