Overview
NISC, the National Information Solutions Cooperative, is a member-owned information technology cooperative with headquarters in Lake Saint Louis, Missouri, and Mandan, North Dakota, that builds billing, accounting, engineering and operations software for utilities and broadband providers. It serves hundreds of electric cooperatives, telecommunications companies and other member organisations across the US, with further offices in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and elsewhere. It hires software developers, support specialists for accounting and capital credits, sales operations staff and interns in development, cybersecurity, quality engineering and customer billing support.
