Overview
Ocean Optics is a photonics company headquartered in Orlando, Florida, that designs and manufactures miniature and high-performance spectrometers, light sources, fibers and probes, Raman and LIBS systems, and spectroscopy software. Founded in 1989 and part of the UK-listed Halma group, it serves academia, food and agriculture, pharmaceuticals, semiconductors, metal recycling and medical technology, with offices in the Netherlands and Germany. Its staff include manufacturing and application engineers, optical scientists and technical sales specialists who build its instruments and support customers in research and industry.
