Overview
Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies is an automotive technology joint venture that develops electrical architecture, zonal controllers, vehicle operating software, infotainment and connectivity for software-defined electric vehicles of both parent groups, headquartered in Palo Alto, California. Established in 2024 by Rivian and Volkswagen Group, it builds on Rivian's in-house software and electronics platform, with Volkswagen committing up to 5.8 billion dollars to the partnership. Its openings are mostly for embedded and Android software engineers, functional safety engineers, technical program managers, electronic design and validation engineers and hardware systems architects.
