Simon Weckert

Simon Weckert is a German media artist and developer based in Berlin who works at the intersection of technology, art and social critique. He studied New Media Art at the Berlin University of the Arts and works with generative design and physical computing, treating code and circuits as material for ironic commentary rather than as purely practical tools. His artworks and performances have been shown at institutions including V&A Dundee, Ars Electronica Linz, CCBT Tokyo, the Vitra Design Museum and the Bauhaus Museum Weimar.
