Overview
Somfy Group is a French industrial group headquartered in Cluses, in Haute-Savoie, that makes motors, controls and connected-home systems for automating shutters, blinds, awnings, curtains, gates and garage doors in homes and commercial buildings. Founded in 1969 and family-controlled, it operates in 59 countries with about 7,000 employees, 8 production sites and 17 R&D centers, including a new plant in Felgueiras, Portugal.
