Overview
Sublime Systems is a Somerville climate technology company founded in 2020 that makes cement without a kiln. Its electrochemical process avoids the fossil fuel combustion and limestone calcination that make cement a major emissions source. The company was spun out of Massachusetts Institute of Technology research and is building its first commercial plant.
