TAL is an Australian life insurance company headquartered in Sydney that provides life, income protection, total and permanent disability and critical illness cover to individuals, through financial advisers and through superannuation fund partners. With roots going back to 1869, it is owned by Japan's Dai-ichi Life group and says it protects millions of Australians, with offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
