Overview
Two Six Technologies is an American company formed in 2021 when the private equity firm Carlyle combined the national security business of IST Research with parts of Two Six Labs. It builds cyber capabilities, electronic warfare systems, information operations tooling and research prototypes for United States defence and intelligence customers, sitting closer to research than to traditional systems integration. Headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, it employs mostly cleared engineers and researchers, and much of its work involves turning DARPA-funded research into systems operational units can actually deploy.
