Virginia Tourism Corporation

Virginia Tourism Corporation is the state tourism marketing agency of Virginia, based in Richmond, that promotes domestic and international travel to the state under the Virginia is for Lovers brand and supports film production through the Virginia Film Office. It runs Virginia Welcome Centers, cooperative advertising and grant programs for local tourism partners, the Virginia is for Lovers store, the state travel guide and research on the economic impact of travel. Governed by a board of directors, it also leads the statewide strategic tourism plan and helps localities with tourism zones, tourism improvement districts and a tourism development financing program.
