Role

We are seeking an Associate .NET Core Developer with 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience to join a banking technology team. In this role, you will build and support ASP.NET Core applications and REST APIs, working alongside senior engineers on service integrations, caching strategies, and relational data design. This is a great opportunity for a developer looking to grow their skills in a large-scale, enterprise banking environment while working with modern development practices, version control, and CI/CD workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications and REST APIs using ASP.NET Core and C#.
• Contribute to application architecture discussions, including service integration patterns and API design.
• Implement and support caching, session management, and pub/sub functionality using Redis.
• Design and work with relational database schemas in SQL Server, writing and optimizing queries as needed.
• Write unit tests and participate in debugging efforts to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Use Git for version control, following branching and code review best practices.
• Support and participate in CI/CD pipelines for build, test, and deployment workflows.
• Collaborate with senior developers, QA, and business analysts to translate requirements into working software.
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects and production issues in a timely manner.
• Follow secure coding practices and internal engineering standards appropriate for a banking environment.
• Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to continuously improve coding practices.
• Document technical designs, APIs, and configuration details for maintainability.

Required Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of professional experience as a .NET developer.
• Strong experience with ASP.NET Core and C#.
• Solid understanding of application architecture, including REST APIs and service integration.
• Hands-on experience with Redis, including caching, session management, and pub/sub.
• Familiarity with SQL Server and relational database design.
• Good understanding of unit testing and debugging practices.
• Exposure to version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows.
• Ability to work effectively within a team, following established coding standards and review processes.
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn from senior team members.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Prior exposure to the banking or financial services domain is a plus, but not required.
