We are seeking a Data Engineer who will be responsible for programming data extractions, transformations, and processing, as well as ensuring data quality. The goal is to provide metrics, dashboards, and integrations for our operational areas, utilizing best practices in Cloud environments.

It will be an exclusive requirement to be an advanced student/graduate in careers such as Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.

What Challenges Await You?

• Create, operate, and maintain data extraction and analysis services for our application ecosystem.
• Operate Data Warehousing tools to provide statistical reports.
• Define metrics and visualization dashboards for our business areas.
• Collaborate in the construction of predictive and classification models for new features in our digital products and business automation.
• Develop ingestion and preparation processes for heterogeneous data originating from our operations in multiple countries across the region.
• Build processes for enriching our databases with alternative sources from Marketing and Log Analytics.
• Participate in the resolution of technical problems, where a passion for development, best practices, and high-quality software is valued.

What are the Requirements?

• Proven experience of 5+ years in positions such as Software Engineer, Data Architect, BI, or Data Analysis.
• University studies in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, or equivalent.
• Solid knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and databases.
• Experience using programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, NodeJS, or equivalents.
• Experience in developing programmatic data pipelines with tools such as Spark, Flume, Beam, MapReduce, or equivalents.
• Knowledge of Data Mining techniques for building Data Warehouses.
• Knowledge of traditional or Cloud SQL tools for large volumes, such as Oracle, SQL Server, Google BigQuery, Microsoft Azure SQL, AWS Redshift, or equivalents.
• Experience working in Agile methodologies environments.
• Proactive attitude towards daily tasks. Interest in learning new technologies and mentoring other team members.
• Fluent in English (Desirable)
