Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain features in the Console - back-end logic, data handling, and the interfaces our clients and internal teams use;
  • Build and maintain integrations with external sales platforms and internal systems;
  • Improve existing functionality: performance, reliability, security, and code quality;
  • Write clear, well-tested code and take part in code review;
  • Work directly with Operations and other business teams to turn their needs into working software;
  • Keep solution documentation current (solution design, process descriptions, test cases);
  • Use AI / LLM tooling where it speeds up delivery or creates business value.
What We’re Looking For
  • At least 3 years of commercial Ruby on Rails experience;
  • Strong Ruby fundamentals, not only Rails conventions;
  • Good SQL and relational database skills, including query performance and migrations;
  • Practical experience designing and consuming REST APIs and third-party integrations;
  • Solid engineering fundamentals: Git, automated testing, background job processing, maintainable design;
  • Comfortable picking up and working in an existing codebase;
  • Ability to work independently, plan your own work, and communicate clearly with non-technical colleagues;
  • Good command of English (written and spoken).

Nice To Have:
  • Hotwire / Turbo / Stimulus, JavaScript, modern CSS;
  • Docker, Kamal, CI/CD pipelines;
  • Experience integrating e-commerce or marketplace platforms (Shopify, Amazon);
  • Experience with Snowflake or Python;
  • Experience in financial, tax, accounting, or similarly process-heavy domains.
