Key Responsibilities
- Accurately enter VAT-related data into financial and accounting systems, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and deadlines;
- Verify data accuracy and identify discrepancies, errors, and duplicates before submission;
- Prepare periodic VAT reports and perform data checks to ensure compliance with legal and internal requirements;
- Provide information and documentation for audits and financial reviews;
- Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance data accuracy and efficiency;
- Onboard and mentor new team members on data entry workflows, systems, and procedures;
- Deputize for the team lead in their absence, coordinating team activities and making operational decisions;
- Complete additional reports and ad hoc tasks as directed by the manager;
- Ensures confidentiality of all processed data in accordance with GDPR requirements.
- At least 2 years of experience in data entry, accounting, or similar work involving data;
- Higher education in accounting, finance, or economics (a legal background is an advantage);
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and a structured approach to work;
- Good organizational and time management skills - ability to handle large data volumes and meet deadlines;
- Team player with good communication skills and a proactive mindset;
- Fluent English (C1 level working language). Other EU languages are an additional advantage.
