What you’ll do
As a Geotechnical Engineer / Geologist in our Ground and Underground team based in Queensland, you’ll contribute to a range of infrastructure, defense, and energy projects, working alongside a team that values collaboration, curiosity, and practical solutions.
- Supportplanninganddeliveryofgeotechnicalsiteinvestigationsinlinewithrelevantstandards
- Assistwithgeotechnicalanalysis,design,andreportingacrossprojects
- Workcloselywithmultidisciplinaryteamstomeetprojectrequirements
- Contributetohigh-qualitytechnicaloutputsanddocumentation
- Supportongoingprojectdeliveryacrossinfrastructure,includingmajorprograms,defenceprojects,andotherlinearandenergyprojects
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor'sdegreeinCivil/GeotechnicalEngineering,orBachelorofScienceinGeology(orrelateddiscipline)
- 2-3yearsofprofessionalexperienceingeotechnicalengineeringorgeology(consultingexperiencepreferred,butnotessential)
- Experienceingeotechnicalsiteinvestigations,withwillingnesstotravelasrequired
- WorkingknowledgeofgeotechnicalsoftwaresuchasPLAXIS,GeoStudio,Rocscience,OpenGround,orLeapfrog(beneficialbutnotmandatory)
- Strongcommunicationandteamworkskills
- Aproactiveattitude,willingnesstolearn,andopennesstodevelopingnewtechnicalcapabilities
- Fieldexperiencefromconsulting,contractors,ordrillingenvironmentsisadvantageous
- WillingnessandabilitytoobtainsecurityclearancerequiredtosupportDefence-relatedprojects
