Position Scope
NACG is seeking a Surveyor to join our remote mining site team in the Fort McMurray area. This is your opportunity to join one of the safest and largest contracts in the region.
For this role, NACG offers a combined rate of up to $53.83/hour as well as room for growth!
Where You’ll Be Working
- Site: Suncor
- Schedule: 14x7, 12-hour days/nights (paid for 12 hours).
- Accommodations: Camp accommodation is not provided.
- Transportation: Bussing provided from Fort McMurray to site (before and after rotation).
- Overtime: Provided after 8 hours a day or 44 hours a week.
- Living Out Allowance: $75/day worked Living Out Allowance.
We are proud to work with the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 955. Successful candidates will become a part of that union.

Qualifications
What Makes You the ONE
- 3 years of experience in survey party chief role
- Must be skilled in unsupervised use of RTK GNSS, Total station, and 3D scanners
- Must be proficient with construction staking (roads, corridors, piping, slopes, etc) and as-built/topographic surveys
- Experience with Trimble survey equipment considered an asset
- Experience with volume calculation and design calculations in AutoCAD considered an asset
- Transport Canada RPAS Advanced (Drone) license along with 25+ hrs experience flying multi-rotor drones will be considered an asset
