3M

3M is an American industrial conglomerate founded in 1902 as a failed mining venture that reinvented itself around abrasives and then around adhesives, producing masking tape, Scotch tape and Post-it notes along the way. It now sells tens of thousands of products across safety equipment, industrial adhesives and abrasives, electronics materials, filtration and consumer goods, built on a research culture that lets scientists spend part of their time on unassigned work. Headquartered in Saint Paul, Minnesota, it separated its healthcare business as Solventum in 2024 and has spent recent years settling very large earplug and chemical liabilities.
3M has a long-standing reputation as a company committed to innovation. We provide the freedom to explore and encourage curiosity and creativity. We gain new insight from diverse thinking, and take risks on new ideas. Here, you can apply your talent in bold ways that matter.

  • Support onboarding and adoption of OnePlace for new users, teams, data products, and use cases.

  • Guide users on platform capabilities, governance requirements, best practices, and self-service resources.

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for platform users, gathering requirements, feedback, and enhancement requests.

  • Coordinate support requests, issue triage, escalations, and resolution updates with engineering and operations teams.

  • Track onboarding progress, adoption metrics, user engagement, and customer health to identify improvement opportunities.

  • Create and maintain enablement materials, including guides, FAQs, training content, documentation, and knowledge articles.

  • Support data product onboarding by assisting with metadata, publishing workflows, governance processes, and platform standards.

  • Act as a bridge between users and delivery teams, communicating needs, challenges, and opportunities across the organization.

  • Familiarity with modern data platform concepts including data products, data governance, metadata management, analytics, workflow automation, and AI-enabled solutions.

  • Experience supporting, onboarding, enabling, or working with enterprise software, data platforms, analytics platforms, cloud solutions, or technical products.

  • Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into actionable outcomes.

  • Experience working directly with customers, users, researchers, or stakeholders in a technical environment.

  • Strong communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
