• Full- time: 12hr rotating shifts-Days & night shifts available

Job Description:

The person hired for the position of PACKAGING OPERATOR III will work at our INDIANAPOLIS, IN 3M plant site.

As a PACKAGING OPERATOR III you will have will be responsible for but not limited to the following duties:

• Operating automated assembly machines to pack out products
• Maintaining quality standards and safety standards
• Utilizing 3M Computer systems to track production and packaging cycles
• Maintaining communication with production coworkers and supervisors regarding production performance

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications.

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this 3M Production role, in compliance with U.S. labor and safety laws.

• Possess a High School Diploma / GED or higher (completed prior to start)
• Work Rotating Shifts, Overtime, Extended Hours, Weekends, Holidays as needed, and short notice shift coverage

• Minimum two (2) months of operating production machinery or CNC equipment in a private public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Basic computer knowledge

• 6 months to 1 year of experience working with production machinery or CNC equipment.

Applicants who meet the basic qualifications above will be required to take and pass 3M elected testing as a part of the selection process.

Pay Transparency:

The starting rate of pay for this position is $20.46. This represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
