As a Senior Treasury Analyst for/at 3M GLOBAL CAPITAL, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

Here, you will make an impact by:

• Cash Positioning & Forecasting: Lead daily cash positioning by analysing global cash balances across accounts and jurisdictions. Manage liquidity within the In-House Bank to ensure efficient cash utilization, identifying surplus or shortfalls and proactively optimizing cash flows.
• Partner with Global and Regional counterparts to ensure effective and efficient management of cross-regional activities, including monitoring intercompany loans and deposits, FX exposures, bank guarantees... Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure proper funding arrangements, while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Settlement of FX Trades: Oversee the settlement of foreign exchange (FX) trades, ensuring timely and accurate execution of FX transactions.
• Management of Financial Instruments: Facilitate the settlement, reporting, and analysis of various financial instruments, including bonds, commercial paper, share repurchase, fixed income and money market investments, and other market instruments.
• Intercompany Netting and Payments on behalf of: Manage intercompany netting and POBO processes, coordinating with regional teams to streamline cash flows, reduce transaction costs, and ensure that intercompany balances are reconciled efficiently.
• Treasury System Optimization: Leverage your knowledge of treasury management systems (such as Kyriba, SAP, Power BI) to improve and automate processes, ensuring a seamless and efficient operation.
• Treasury Reporting and Analysis: Assist in the preparation of treasury reports for senior management, providing insights into cash positioning, liquidity, and financial instrument performance. Ensure accurate reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support relationship with global banking partners ensuring all issues are addressed or escalated as appropriate
• Support and deliver transformational initiatives: Drive global or EMEA-specific projects to enhance and streamline the treasury operating model, such as regional cash management transformation and process optimization.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in treasury, finance operations, accounting, banking, or a related function.
• Experience in a multinational company, shared service environment, or banking environment is helpful but not required.
• Very good command of English (minimum B2 level).

Additional knowledge / nice-to-have skills / preferred qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Foundational understanding of treasury operations and cash management principles.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in transaction processing and reporting.
• Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage routine deadlines.
• Ability to analyze data, identify issues, and escalate appropriately.
• Strong Excel skills; familiarity with treasury or ERP systems such as Kyriba, SAP, or Power BI is an advantage.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with stakeholders across regions and functions.
• Willingness to learn, improve processes, and develop treasury knowledge in a global environment.

• Working from the office 4 days a week, with the remaining day flexible.
