Security Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Own and secure cloud infrastructure and internal platforms.
• Design and implement security guardrails for IAM, networking, secrets, encryption, and logging.
• Identify and remediate cloud misconfigurations proactively.
• Perform penetration testing and adversarial security testing on infrastructure, applications, and APIs.
• Conduct threat modeling exercises and simulate real-world attack scenarios.
• Integrate security checks into CI/CD pipelines and engineering workflows.
• Partner with engineering teams to build secure-by-default systems.
• Support platform security audits and compliance activities with minimal overhead.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Cloud Security / Infrastructure Security.
• Strong experience securing cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Solid understanding of IAM, networking, encryption, secrets management, and logging.
• Hands-on experience with penetration testing, ethical hacking, or security testing.
• Experience with threat modeling and understanding real-world attack paths.
• Experience securing APIs, cloud-native services, and internal platforms.
• Ability to automate security tasks using Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native development workflows.
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
