We believe in the problem solved.

At A-SAFE, your work helps protect people and improve how workplaces operate. As a Service Coordinator, you’ll play a central role in turning customer requirements into well-planned, safely delivered installation, inspection and service visits.

This is a fast-moving coordination role where priorities can change quickly. You’ll bring customers, installation teams, subcontractors and internal departments together, making sure everyone has the right information and that each job moves smoothly from initial planning through to completion.

The role

You’ll take ownership of a varied schedule of installation and service work. Balancing customer requirements, installer availability, travel and operational priorities, you’ll make practical decisions that keep work progressing and customers informed.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning workloads and schedules for installation and service teams.
  • Coordinating installer availability, travel, accommodation and operational requirements.
  • Arranging plant, machinery and specialist equipment, including FLTs and MEWPs, where required.
  • Preparing accurate job packs using information provided by Sales through Conek.
  • Identifying missing or unclear information before work is released to the installation team.
  • Keeping customers, installers, Sales teams and other stakeholders informed of changes, delays or amendments.
  • Organising the workload of approved subcontractors and issuing purchase orders before work begins.
  • Monitoring completed jobs and ensuring reports, photographs, certificates and supporting records are received.
  • Recording incomplete visits and Non-Conformance Reports accurately, then prioritising return visits in line with the relevant SLA.
  • Maintaining schedules for inspections, line marking, safety systems, maintenance and other service activities.

Customer communication will be a major part of your role. You’ll agree visit details, confirm dates and provide clear progress updates before, during and after the work. When plans change, you’ll make sure customers understand what is happening and what the next steps are.

You’ll also follow up after completion, helping ensure that outstanding actions are resolved and that each job is properly closed.

What you’ll find here

You’ll be able to see the impact of your work in the customer sites and workplaces our solutions help protect. Every well-planned visit, complete job pack and timely update contributes to work being delivered safely and professionally.

You’ll have real responsibility for outcomes, not simply individual administrative tasks. That means using your judgement, resolving problems and taking ownership when information is missing or priorities change.

As our service portfolio expands, you’ll have the opportunity to broaden your knowledge across a growing range of products and services. You’ll also play an active part in improving the systems and processes used by the Installation & Services team.

Who we’re looking for

You’ll be highly organised, customer-focused and comfortable coordinating several activities at once. Strong communication skills are essential, as you’ll work with customers, installation crews, subcontractors, Sales teams and colleagues across the business.

You’ll also bring:

  • Experience of planning, scheduling, administration or service coordination.
  • The ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and confidence checking information for accuracy.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and resolving problems.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence communicating delays, changes and next steps to customers.
  • Good geographical knowledge when planning workloads, routes and travel.
  • The ability to maintain accurate records and follow work through to completion.
  • A practical, accountable approach and the confidence to escalate issues when necessary.

Experience coordinating field-based teams, installation work, subcontractors or customer service activities would be useful, but what matters most is your ability to take ownership, communicate clearly and keep complex schedules moving.

If you enjoy solving practical problems, creating order in a changing environment and delivering a reliable customer experience, this role offers the opportunity to make a visible difference.
